What is MESH

What Is Mental And Emotional Self Health? Here is my introduction to my program: Mental and Emotional Self Help (MESH), is a free of charge peer-run, peer-directed program, which contains 5 distinct Modules. These Modules we feel are recommended to achieve and maintain the best quality of mental wellness possible: 1) Life Purpose 2) Behavioral Awareness/Change 3) Life Experiences 4) Emotions Thoughts Processing 5) Health! There are no professionals running mesh or its groups/liasons, many of us, including who leads mesh, have had mental health and/or emotional issues. We have been in treatment or otherwise and we now draw a common conclusion: We self help for mental wellness; we are the ones who are responsible for our own sanity/ emotional wellbeing. What we do on a regular basis, during sessions and also in life, we read self help books and/or study resources online (if the Internet is available) and we talk with one another and give mutual validation, self validation, and supp...

Mental Emotional and Self Health

Low-level Anger

Do you ever catch yourself snapping at people or talking too loudly or being sarcastic, etc., or does anyone around you mention or notice these things about you. You may be dealing with low-level anger. Search anger issues---especially "low-level anger". I did. I catch myself acting like this, as though it were second nature.  It's like low-level pain or fever. You sense that something is wrong and you cannot put your finger on it.  What could be causing you to feel angry. Look within nonjudgmentally. There's hope for us to change.

BPD - my take

I came up with a new name for borderline personality disorder and I even submitted it a long time ago on Twitter to the American Psychiatric Association. Understandably and not surprisingly they did not respond.  But I don't care. People who deal with borderline personality disorder are not bad people. They are struggling with something as non-border lines are. They're going through a defense process. They're going through a very destructive process that makes them believe many things that are not true and many things that are trying to help them get through things personally although it is a destructive process. Therefore I do not make it about personality and I wish professionals wouldn't either! I call it something about a defense response not about a person's personality. Introducing a new name: Borderline psychotic defense response.

difficult to find free help

I'm becoming very discouraged from getting help from apps and online help resources because they seem to want to make money and worse yet they seem to want to rope me in to alleged free trials. I don't like being roped in I don't like it that they don't make it very clear that they're putting me in a trial a 3-day trial or a 7-Day trial or whatever. if they're going to do that I think I have a right to know what I'm dealing with and I have a right to be able to back out of it. I just used an app that I thought was free and I have to pay in 3 days or quit and I have to email them because there's no option to delete the account. I'm starting to really know more than everything in the world that much self-help and much therapy is about money and power and not too much about our mental well-being. I formulated mental and emotional and self-help because it was necessary for me to use something free so I formed it myself. and I'm sharing with the worl...

What mental wellness really feels like

It's a sense of command or control over behavior and attitude. Many of us believe that having control over our feelings or thoughts determines our soundness of mind.  I have found that I don't, quite often. But when I practice a positive, or, at least, neutral, attitude, no matter what mood I am in, and take command of the way I act, that's mental wellness.
